Uncovering the Next Generation's Hall of Fame
Artists Eligible for the Country Music Hall of Fame in the Veterans Era Category
The following artists achieved “national prominence” before 1979, making them eligible in the Veterans Era category.
After their 25 year window expires without induction in the Modern Era category, artists become eligible as a Veteran. There is no eligibility sunset for this category.
Once inducted, the Country Music Hall of Fame doesn't differentiate between categories and treats all Hall of Famers equally. That treatment extends to the museum itself, where the plaques in the Hall of Fame gallery are not organized by induction class or category, but are randomly arranged and periodically rotated to different positions.
